puctuation help please

Postby ac789 » Sun Oct 31, 2010 4:48 pm

Is the punctuation of this sentence correct?
They would ask, “Serás mi abogada?” “Will you be my lawyer?” to which I would respond, “Claro que sí!” “Of course!”

Are you asking if the Spanish is okay? As a Spanish speaker I can say that it is...

though I would rephrase the sentence to this:

They would ask, “Serás mi abogada?” (Will you be my lawyer?) to which I would respond, “Claro que sí!” (Of course!)
