Focusing Too Much On Music?

Postby aperson88 » Mon Jul 26, 2010 3:01 pm

Hi,
I am a longtime lurker but first time poster. Anyway, I'm starting the brainstorming process for my PS and DS and I was wondering if it would be "too much" to write my essays on my experiences in the performing arts. I am thinking about writing my PS about being a semi-professional clarinet player while I am thinking about writing my DS on my struggles as an AA male in the performing arts (dealing with racism, and how i overcame those setbacks). I'm just wondering if my two essays are too closely related? Thanks for your help!

Try to make sure the PS is mostly about the music side and the DS is about the racism side and I think it'll be fine.
