and i've been stalking those three links under the "Carlisle Campus" heading. I'm really crossing my fingers that people will want subletters/people to take their leases upon graduation or something. Because right now, no one is responding back

Thanks. I'm worried I'll be living in my car for a few weeks, or at a hotel. Rent is pretty cheap though. I pay $1,660 for a 1 bedroom in Los Angeles.

There's probably a 75% chance that I will be attending UP. I still haven't made up my mind on a law school though.

I was thrilled at the housing prices in Carlisle- 375-500 for a 1 bedroom? Thats just amazing especially coming from San Diego where it costs 700/month plus utilities to live in a 1 bedroom with a roommate in an apartment not located in the ghetto or the desert! Also i too will be moving to an apartment on S. Pitt...i believe there are offices on the first floor too.

If I go, I'll most likely go to the State College Campus. I need to start looking for housing. Didn't I read somewhere that the grad. housing there is really nice? But can you have alcohol there?

How is the public transportation in State College I wonder?

Well I haven't given up on the thought...That's why I'm going to go see the place for myself in about a week and a half.

But...

I don't know if I want to pass up the excitment and uncertainty of an area like State College.

What sparked your interested in PA schools?

I'm from Louisiana, so...my interest in PA schools is def. random! I've just always wanted to get away, particularly to the north/east coast (I crave the climate), and I don't know really...after researching all the states in the region, PA just had a good feel to me (especially after visiting). I can afford the cost of living (as compared to DC, NY, Boston, etc), yet...PA is nestled right in between everything (Carlisle is comfortable driving distance from Baltimore, DC, NYC, etc). It was very much a last minute discovery of mine though...I didn't send my apps into the PA school until 1/25! Glad it worked out in my favor!!
