I'm definitely in with you guys next year. I'm glad to see you're all as concerned with drinking and gambling opportunities as I am. To contribute, Morgan Street in Laclede's Landing has $2 pitchers of quality beer Thursday nights. Also, Grants Farm is fun, free, and you get two free beers in a pseudo-German biergarten.

Welcome, Rollos. I think the TLSers of WUSTL should have ourselves a very fun month of August (up until the 27th, that is).

Sorry buddy, we already are friends. I won't taunt you, I promise. And hey, the way the West is screwed up this year...maybe Dirk will realize he's actually a male and not a female and step it up in the playoffs?smc5784 wrote:That's it. you know, for a school that is supposedly overdeposited, does anyone else find it interesting that only 15 people on LSN put they're attending? I realize not everyone is on there but you'd think it'd be a few more?

Maybe WashU overestimated the non-refundable deposit. Who knows, there's more people applying to school on account of the economy and the rising baby boom. As for LSN, 151 Accepted who did not withdraw. Assume for every person on LSN there is one who is not, that's 300 people deposited for their target ~210hwmyones wrote:you know, for a school that is supposedly overdeposited, does anyone else find it interesting that only 15 people on LSN put they're attending? Is anyone else who got the deferral email planning on calling and seeing if they can get a little extra on their scholarship?

Man, so today I learned I got a FT from Temple and I got excited because maybe I could use that to leverage some more money--then I realize I can't because both schools would pretty much be giving me the same money. >_<

There is a database that they asked us to fill out detailing what we did last summer but it's woefully incomplete. I know the CSO office maintains a list as well since we get emails from them asking us what we're doing post-graduation but I've not seen where anyone has actually seen the results.

I don't think you need to be an admitted student to access that, but I could be wrong..

(It's from an e-mail exchange I had with the CSO.)
