I could probably split with you. I need to see it in order to get a better idea of how big 30'x30' is.

If we're allowed to, I'm going to build planter boxes out of 2x4s like I have back home. We could do that for your half too if you want.

Oh and the garden idea is so nice! I had never heard of renting plots before, that is amazing. Once it gets going, I think fresh produce at the TLS barbecues would be greatly appreciated :)

Seriously studying something practical for a change is going to be so nice... bring on contracts and torts!!!
I know what you mean!!! Even though law school will be tough, at least the stuff we have to study will be useful for our careers :) That's motivation in and of itself...

I'm sure they have them in your area. A bit of searching is all it takes. I hadn't thought much about it until I was traveling. In the Netherlands there are tons of garden plots along the canal and it's so cute.

I'll be sure to bring fresh corn to the BBQ!

I hope we can hold onto the same plot for all three years. I want to plant artichokes and those take a while to be really edible.

Any planting requests?? For BBQs??? (no pot :) )

Holly, I'll be bummed if you don't come to UVA, but Georgetown is still close and you can come down and party with us on the weekends (because we're more fun than your classmates at Georgetown will be ;)) Good luck with your decision, and try to focus on what's best for you, not anyone else (yes, even your boyfriend). Because ultimately, choosing the place that will make you the happiest will be the best thing for your relationship. I think UVA is hands down the better school, but sometimes it has to be about what's the right fit, and only you can determine that :)

Well said.
