Top Law Schools

I'm wearing 10 ringpops right now... my toes feel weird.

who knows the area around uva well? because i don't. i'm currently weighing my options between graduate centre (coming from boston, not able to bring a lot of furniture, etc.) and sharing a 2 bedroom in hessian hills. i google mapped it but can't tell how easy it would be to walk/bike ride to the law school. i'm determined to survive without a car for 1L.

also ... wow about the ring pops, guy. wow.

also, free beer and wings to whomever gets me a little basket for my bike.

You can't buy at GC as far as I know so I doubt you'd be interested unless you change your policy on that.

AS with my law school choice, I have an open policy of changing my mind daily.

Hessian Hills is 1.5 miles from the law school, pretty far to bike/walk considering GC is only 0.3 miles.

Well I'd be happy to have you as a 4th but I don't know why you'd choose it unless you want to walk to class and otherwise be chaffeur to Ubuntu and me. (can't say I'd mind that)

However, in honor of this thread, and my love for you all, I'm now going with a friend to eat wings, drink beer, watch golf, sneak a slice of pizza, and in general talk about how my love for the UVA people on TLS is making me strongly consider the school, despite my misgivings that everyone will meet, hate each other, and attempt to steal my books at the library and such.

I'll say upfront I plan to steal your books at the library. We may not even need a 4th for the TLS suite because I'll need an extra room for myself to keep all the stolen books and outlines.

UVA merely allows you the option. The work is up to you to get approved and such on the GradPlus.

I understand BofA is their preferred lender; what I don't understand is... oh I am so not succeeding in articulating this question. I'll stop pestering you all and call Financial Aid.

I really think this thread's name should be changed to UVA Class of 2011 'Brain Droppings' or 'UVA Class of 2011 Thread for People who Want to Study Law and Discuss Other Stuff too'.

As I recall, they are adding at least one more preferred lender this summer per new federal guidelines. It also might be a good idea to compare what other lenders are offering in terms of incentives before signing the dotted line...

gladiator, have you been to grad centre? How is it? And what's the basic info on costs? (ie, are utilities included in rent)?
