I was hoping to know when MY last class would be, which would presumably depend on which section I'm in. I know when the break itself is, but if I'm in a section that has no classes on Friday, then I can leave for Seattle on Thursday (which would be nice, since the trip is loooong and I'd like more time to spend at home anyways).gladiator wrote:I mean the class schedule. I think she wants to know when the last class on that Friday will be. (Perhaps not?)

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure every section has Friday classes.

Lucky for me, NYU has this ridiculous short break in the fall too, so I'm used to it. At least it includes my birthday.greygoose wrote:what kind of break goes for like 3 days (non including the weekend)?

I assume I'll be taking Amtrak early Saturday morning and returning Wednesday evening. Late Friday trains are a nightmare.

So I come back from a weekend at the mountains, and the housing thread that I've come to know and love has transformed.
Hopefully it will still be as much fun under this new name...

Now that it's not named the housing thread, maybe we should actually talk about housing.

Let me publicly say that SgtBilko rocks - he stopped by a couple of apartments while he was in C-ville and took some pictures for me.
Let me know if I can do the same for anyone when I go up on the 23rd.

Are you looking at houses or apartments? My wife and I are trying to find a nice single-family rental house near north grounds. Since most of the people on this thread seem to be looking at apartments, I thought I'd see if we could compare notes about finding some good "non-trad" law school housing.

So to top off my full tuition scholarship offer, UCLA notified me today I (would) have been offered a $2,200 grant for next year. Ugh, UVa on my resume better get me a really good job. I guess you all can give yourselves a pat on the back because the nice social network I've made at UVa already made the decision to stay easier.

Solid idea.
Arlington Townhomes on Arlington Bvd. Singed my lease this weekend WOOT!

I also think it's a good idea to start a list... put me down for Woodlands.

You mean 8 hours of cramming LSAT goodness into their open minds, and 8 hours of yapping gibberish to 12 gaping mouths and 4 walls?ubuntu wrote:just a weekend course - 2 days, 16 hours of cramming lsat goodness into the open minds of my students.arisbottle wrote:starting an lsat course on may 10th? i hope this isn't for the june exam...
