Sounds like a deal to me. Will there be ice cream involved? I'm pretty much willing to do ANYTHING for ice cream, so laundry and taking care of the kids plus a hot, intelligent, successful wife...
Sounds great!

Oh god, that is the stupidest story ever. The best is that they're worried that the neighbors might find out. Because, you know, the neighbors don't own a tv or read the newspaper or anything...gladiator wrote:Does he have to have the babies too? Pregnant Man #2?

I'm off to the movies, but let me say that these UVA threads are doing more to sell the school to me than anything else. You people rock!

Haha, you don't know if I'm hot!aguyingeorgia wrote:Sounds like a deal to me. Will there be ice cream involved? I'm pretty much willing to do ANYTHING for ice cream, so laundry and taking care of the kids plus a hot, intelligent, successful wife...
I'll buy you as much ice cream as you want if you can give birth!
Seriously though, I'd like either my husband or I to at least stay home part-time for the kids, and if I make more I have no problem with my husband staying home.
My mom worked nights so she could be home with me during the day and I love her for it. She's so 1950's traditional mom, too, it's kinda funny. She canned all of our fruits and veggies - I never had regular canned food until college (and now I think it tastes gross), she made all of our baby food from scratch, she sews and knits, etc. We didn't have mashed potatos from a box, store bought frosting, muffins and cinnamon rolls from a mix, store bought jam, etc. She made everything from scratch and now my college friends are amazed at all these things I'm trying for the first time (ie last month they made me try velveeta).
And now everyone thinks I'm a great cook because i make things from scratch, but it's just because that's what I'm used to.

Imagine a fifth grade blonde boy in a linen suit stirring up an audience with the full rendition of "Trouble."cantwaitforuva wrote:wells, are you by any chance a fan of the music man? that's what i think of whenever I see you and now i have that song stuck in my head!
Yep, that was me... at least in 1995 I don't like watching musicals, but performing in them can be pretty fun.

I think you should continue wearing linen suits - I think that would go over well in the south. And in a light color like Matlock!Wellsfargowagon wrote:Imagine a fifth grade blonde boy in a linen suit stirring up an audience with the full rendition of "Trouble."cantwaitforuva wrote:wells, are you by any chance a fan of the music man? that's what i think of whenever I see you and now i have that song stuck in my head!
