YES!!! And I'm very excited about it, if you couldn't tell.

I like thunderstorms. Especially running in them. Nothing quite like the motivation that lightning flashes and hail can give you.
Haha, me too. As soon as it started raining I wanted to run outside, but none of the roommates are here and I didn't want to dance in the rain alone (the cops would probably arrest me).

oh by the way cantwait - I'm kind of dumb when it comes to this whole submitting an application thing...is there some type of information we should bring in order to fill out the application? like what do they need to know?

Well it's a real offer - I love painting. And if you get Wells in on it, he can reach all of the high places.tkm. wrote: oops sorry for disappearing...anyways thanks for the offer to help me paint! I may need to take you up on that.
well, we are going down to look at a "Hamilton" tomorrow and if we like it then I think we'll just submit the app tomorrow!
The Hamilton is great, it's really large. Let me know what you think of it.

I'm pretty sure they have the application on their website so you could go ahead and print it out now: carriagehillapts.com
Don't worry about the bank stuff, you don't have to fill that out. You just need to know your current landlord's contact info, how much the apt is, etc. If you've been in your apt for less than a year, then you need the previous apts info too. For work info you can just write that you're a UVA student, they don't need to see actual job info.

Sounds awesome, which apartment complex? We have six windows in the living room and we have a great show when it's lightning time - also awesome for fireworks!SgtBilko wrote:My old apartment was on the 22nd floor overlooking the Potomac. Best place to watch DC's summer thunderstorms ever.....

The weather in the DC area today is absolutely gorgeous, and that my building hasn't yet switched from heat to AC has turned my place into a sauna. I think the Powers That Be are telling me to spend all day outside...

Re: UVA Class of 2011 Housing Thread
I had to buy a new computer last summer because my old one broke, but I wish I could have waited until now. But I think I would seriously consider what UVA is offering computer-wise. Simply because if it stops working while you're in law school, they give you a brand new one right away.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
