I got into UVA but the decision took so long i was already fully committed somewhere else in the t-10 schools. It is too much to switch at this point.

cantwait, Charlottesville's main library (the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library) looks really nice inside (i just drove by, didn't go inside). It is downtown, so it's about 2 miles from the law school. There could be a branch closer to North Grounds though.

As far as housing, most people in this thread are already set . . . check the UVA law forum online, there are a lot of people lookin there for roommates

what bars do law students go to, and how do they get there? the law school/ivy gardens is realllllllllllllly far away from the downtown area. is that where are the bars are? cause it's definitely not walking distance.

Most people have cars or can have friends drive them to bars. I'm sure you can catch a ride with someone. And there are always cabs, which are pretty cheap. Also, house parties are pretty common, so you might just be able to walk to some of the big parties.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Remember, CON is the opposite of PRO, yet our country relies on a Congress rather than a Progress.
