Non-Certified Private Loans

Anyone having any success finding lenders willing to offer non-certified loans? I'm maxed out on my school's estimated cost of attendance, but I know that's not going to be enough to cover my costs (thanks in large part to child care for my 2 kids).

TITCR. Child care expenses are one of the few categories that schools will up a student budget for. Also health care costs and premiums, if those are an issue. Even if you could get these loans, you should avoid them. They will wind up costing you far more in the end than any adjustments you have to make to work within your (hopefully expanded) student budget.

I'm also interested in any non-certified private loan lenders. My reason is prior debt that I do not want to be paying during law school with monthly COL money. I was all setup to go with Wells Fargo, and then last minute they came up with some reason of my grade level being the same it was last time I had a loan with them, and decided they cannot approve what I asked for. Unfortunately, they are the only non-certified lender I know of. Any suggestions?

Did you have any luck with this. We're looking at law school with an infantl, one law school Dad and one stay-at-home mom.

We're not really sure how we can make it work.

Financial aid offices are usually willing to up the budget for child care expense. There is a standard increase that covers certain things- 500/month for first then 400/month each additional or something like that. i would exhaust all possibilities with the school's office before hitting up noncertified loans.

Anyone know of any others besides Wells Fargo?
Anyone have an experience getting a noncertified loan from 'em?
