MCCA LMJ Legal Scholarship

Someone started a thread for the ABA LOSF so I figured I would start one for the MCCA LMJ. Anyone else applied? Has anyone heard anything yet?

So this year looks different because it looks like they are not doing the finalist thing this year. The FAQ says this:
Notifications are sent to recipients and applicants not selected to receive an award via email by the end of August. For recipients, an ‘Acceptance’ link will be displayed on the ‘Home’ page following the notification.

Emailed MCCA today and they said they are still deliberating. :) YAY!

Dear Applicant,

MCCA is shifting its giving cycle to coincide with its fundraising cycle. Therefore, selected applicants will be notified in November about any scholarship awards.

seriously. would it be that hard to let the winners/losers know and then just give the money in november?

they must be unsure about how many scholarships they'll be able to give...

Not to my knowledge. They sent out an email a while back that they were pushing the notification, but I haven't heard anything. The website hasn't listed the recipients, but the next cycles application information had been posted.

MCCA Lloyd M. Johnson Scholarship Notification Dates:

2014: 18 September (Thursday)
2011: 18 August (Thursday)
2008: 14 August (Thursday)
