Negotiation scholarship stipulations Forum

I am attempting to negotiate the stipulation off of my scholarship. Currently it is maintaining a 3.0 but I know the way that law schools curve that it is much more difficult to obtain this than in undergrad. I am asking to make it "remain in good academic standing", but if I'm unsuccessful would it be better to go to a lower ranked school with no stipulations? The scholarship amounts are virtually the same amongst the offers I have received thus far in the cycle. Any advice would be really helpful!

I got the stipulation offer from American University and the ones that don't have a stipulation are Miami, Pittsburgh and Akron

I don't know why you're leaning toward American.

Have you looked at the LST reports for these schools?

Also why the wide geographic spread? You'll be stuck working in or around the school.

Thank you for the link it was very helpful but also very depressing! It appears that rankings mean nothing in the grand scheme of employment. When tier four schools are ranked above some tier two schools than I have a lot of research to do before making a final decision!
