Hey,

I was wondering if anyone had advice on how I should approach asking the Dean of Admission for scholly money. I ED to UCLA @ 25 GPA / 75 LSAT, but wasn't offered any money in my initial letter/phone call.

Much appreciated!

You have zero leverage. If you've been accepted through ED, you'll either be attending UCLA at sticker price, or you'll be waiting to reapply next year.

That's simply not true.

My friend is a 1L this year, accepted ED and went to the Financial Aid office after being accepted (we both attended UCLA undergrad so it was easy to pop in there) she was awarded 15k per year w/ stip. Just talk to them!

Here are all the ED applicants for UCLA.

The number I'd like to draw your attention to is the 10% figure. As in, 1 out of 10 of those that ED'd got scholarship money -- and the one person that did get scholarship money is counting need-based aid.

You'll forgive my skepticism of an anecdotal "oh my friend said..." story as indicative of anything.
