What is the deadline for accepting federal loans?

I'm finding this whole loan process a bit confusing. I've already been approved by my school for loans based on the FAFSA form I filled out, and the school has on its checklist to accept loans in June, but is there an actual deadline?

Also, don't you have a certain period to request more or return some if your calculations were off?
