Buy a flask.

Buy used books and sell them back after. It's virtually free that way. Old editions almost always work totally time.

Minimize how much you spend on alcohol.
Get a roommate.
Don't take taxis just because they're easier than the bus/subway.
Don't pay $100/mo for a smartphone on AT&T/Verizon.
Don't buy lunches.

(I follow exactly none of these, except I have Sprint.)

Noted. I just feel like this looks kinda tacky/cheap if you're out drinking with friends.

Lolz. Getting pregnant and fucking with my hormones sounds like a recipe for law school success!

I'm definitely tacky and cheap but I always cozy up to anyone who has a flask at a bar.

Don't forget you can also simply sell yourself on the street too.

I'm really sad I won't be able to eat organic food while in law school. Maybe I'll just start my own garden...

I'm going to try making really large dishes at the beginning of two weeks, freezing them, and having them as dinners for the days to follow.

Well, there was that story awhile back about the guy who went to college while living in his van and working to avoid student debt.

That being said the majority of people who support that idea for the average person would want to see their kid live in a van.......so......yeah......

Plus it wouldn't even really be an option to work in law school since the ABA makes it a violation if going fulltime. Mind you the average person I went to school with worked, but they were either on part time or would say "what, how would they find out" (same people who took 3 shots at the MPRE to pass it of course)

That is dumb and counterproductive, bro. Shopping online just tempts you to buy things you didn't know you need until you see them. It is even worse when the price is really low. Then you really want it.

If you have a decent professional wardrobe and a laptop, you really don't need to buy anything in law school except food and toiletries.

Cheap beer like Boxer's and cheap booze like Canadian Springs can go a long way to keeping you entertained, too.

Here are some TTTips from a TTT's financial aid brochure:

Buy half gallons of ice cream and cones and share the cost with your roommate or study group.
Try take and bake pizza instead of delivery.
Check out the used CD rack in your local music store.
Have you ever been "thrift shopping?" (Quotes are theirs.)

There are some semi-useful tips as well, but those are my favorites.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Well you can buy toiletries and some food (peanut butter, ramen, etc) on amazon to save money.
