Yes. You should do it anyway. I thought the same thing about my situation, but I submitted my information just to see what would happen. I lucked out and got some money. You never know!

What has the school told you when you called and explained that your parents and stepparent were unwilling to disclose their financial information, in part out of concern for their privacy and in part because you are financially independent?
