I submitted the needaccess application for NYU. I procrastinated on the FAFSA and got a decision before I submitted the latter.

Now that I've actually done the FAFSA, should I ask the school to reconsider my scholarship application?

It won't make any difference. If you are planning to take any federal loans you'll need to fill out the FAFSA anyway, but NYU has all the info they need from NeedAccess. If you want them to reconsider your scholarship you'll need to show them offers from other schools.
