COA

Postby az21833 » Fri Feb 15, 2013 1:13 am

if I take the COA and take out the tuition, i get about 25K at Harvard, Columbia, Stanford etc. is this how much I need to pay for everything besides tuition for a year of law school? Is there anything not caught in this (ie summer housing, food, travel, etc.) and do people find the 25K estimate/year to be stingy or generous? thank you.

It doesn't count the summer.

alright so 6K for 1L summer? 2L summer assume comes out to a draw (or actually a net, but will say draw to be conservative). 25K*3+6K=81K? Is this how much I need to have saved up if i want to pay for everything besides tuition and finance my tuition 100%?

thanks.
