Negotiating Scholarships with HYS

Has anyone ever attempted to negotiate with any HYS? By leveraging between them? Or having a full scholarship in CCN? How did you do it?

If you are poor and old, you can get lots of money from them.
Being poor and old rocks. For some things.

Leveraging scholarships among H,Y & S goes something like this:

Dear Yale: Harvard gave me nothing therefore I respectfully request that you give me nothing too.

Or:

Dear #2: I successfully negotiated nothing in the way of merit scholarship money from #s1 & 3 and hereby respectfully request that you match those offers.

H,Y & S award need based aid. Nevertheless, you might try to negotiate for a fully handwritten acceptance letter.
