Undergrad Stafford Loan Exit Counseling

Post by smithc2011 » Wed Jun 29, 2011 8:13 pm

I'm an incoming 1L, just graduated, and have already filled out my loan stuff for my school. Do I have to do the exit counseling for my undergrad stafford loans? I'm assuming yes, but the studentloans website isn't exactly clear, and i'd prefer to not waste 30 minutes on something I don't have to do, or somehow screw up my loans for 1L year.

I did it because there was rumors that if we didn't at my UG they wouldn't give us our diploma...by doing it will not harm your ability to take out more FAFSA loans

gotcha. If I had gone one more page into the exit counseling website, I would've figured it out. so dumb question on my part. Thanks.
