Does the FAFSA automatically get sent to the schools I list?

Or, do they still have to request the information?

I'm not sure how (I think when I was tabbing to select services yes/no I scrolled down), but I changed "Yes, I am a U.S. citizen" to "No, I'm not a U.S. citizen or eligible non citizen"

I can't edit it either until it processes, and I'm not even sure if I'm able to change that then.

I'm literally panicking about this, 'cause even if I can update it later I don't want to get brushed aside as not being able to receive federal aid.

From what I understand, it is automatically sent to schools, but after it's done processing and you edit and resubmit it, it'll automatically send the new version to all the schools too.

That is what I feared.
