Financial Documentation for FAFSA/ Loan Disbursement

My parents are leaving the country in about a month - what financial documentation do I need to get from them before they leave?

FAFSA/Need Access asked for saving/investment balances - do I need verification of this?

Not now, but if they audit your fin aid, then yes.

Sorry, what I meant is that do I need to provide documentation as a matter of course? Or is it just in audit scenarios?

Either way, I guess I should pull the information now so I'm not SOL in 3 months. Thanks for the help.
