My parents received a letter at their address today saying that my name, SSN, and DOB have been compromised, thanks to something related to student loans. A quick google search tells me I"m in good company -- apparently there are 3.3 million of us. Is anyone else here in this situation? ECMC is offering 1 free year of credit monitoring, so I'll sign up for that.
Anyone know exactly what else to do from here?

You can't really do anything else besides monitor your credit and dispute any accounts that are opened without your authorization.
