OH and Northwestern. Waiting on them. Not hopeful because I said the most unintelligent thing to ever come out of my mouth during the interviewToddCraines wrote:In at USC, Vandy and Georgetown thus far. Rejected at UCLA, Texas, and Michigan (none had my diversity statement, does anyone know if this could have hurt me??). Priority Reserve at Duke (also didn't have diversity statement)
Waiting on Columbia(had interview), NYU (currently UR2), Cornell(had interview), and Penn (UR2) for decisions in the near future. Just submitted Chicago last week and prepared to wait out Radio Silence from Virginia.
Kind of nervous that I'm facing only dings but also learning to be content with what I have.

Re: URM 2017-2018 Cycle Thread
I think my cycle is going pretty well. I don't have high hopes for the T3 (and didn't apply to Yale anyway), but I'm in at NYU and I'm hoping for Columbia or Chicago...maybe hearing this week, since I interviewed at both a while back.
Also still waiting on Penn, Northwestern, and UVA (though I might pull that app since I'm not sure I want to interview at this point).
In everywhere else, but hoping for some good scholarships at the T14.

I got one acceptance last Wednesday and an acceptance the Wednesday before that, I was starting to think Wednesday was my lucky day. After no movement today my superstitious self is now thinking that my next news is gonna be bad news, ugh.
I haven’t cracked the t14 yet, here’s to hoping!

Columbia/Chicago/NYU are amazing picks, and really well done on hearing back from all of those others places so far (the UC's...i'm from Irvine!)!

I'm in at Gtown and Berkeley so far. Honestly very happy if that ends up being it. I'm in falling-in-love mode with Berkeley rn.
I'm confident this will be a good cycle for everyone here, keep your spirits up!

In at Chicago, which blew my mind.

First waitlist of the cycle :/
Trying to be really happy with the (admittedly amazing) options I have, but it's tough from a school I really, really wanted.

Waitlisted at UChicago - I’m trying to get out the Midwest so I see this as a sign instead of a bummer. Still writing that LOCI tho for scholarship purposes
