First two decisions came yesterday and was happy to see that they were both acceptances. One from Vanderbilt and the other from Wake Forest. Vanderbilt is my second choice! (Only second to Duke.) So, I was ecstatic. For all of y'all stressing over silence, there is hope! Just pray every night and trust that God will take care of it(:

Waitlisted at UChicago - I’m trying to get out the Midwest so I see this as a sign instead of a bummer. Still writing that LOCI tho for scholarship purposes

In reality I don’t know why I applied to 12 top schools, none of which I can pay for...

I'm sure you'll end up getting money. Look through prior cycle results money. URMs even with low stats for URMs were still getting half discounts up and down the T13.

Does anyone know if Urm gpa and LSAT floors for named scholarships (ie hamiltons or darrows) are the same as for non Urm applicants? Or is there a bit of a bump similar to in regular admissions?

I am sure this has been asked, but anyone who applied to HLS in like Sept-Oct get JS1 yet?

Just got into UChicago, so now I am focused on seeing if I still have a shot at HLS.

I applied 10/31, interview request 11/14 (second wave of JS1). My GPA is 50th<GPA<75th and my LSAT is below their 25th.

I am in the same exact boat. Got into Chicago on 1st waves, applied mid October, still no JS1

I didn’t get my application in for Harvard as early as you guys did. But every time there’s another JS1 wave Im not part of, I question whether my application just sucks or if they’re just really taking their time reviewing URM apps this cycle. Really hoping for the latter. I thought everything in my application was solid aside from the fact that my LSAT is only in the mid160 range :(

Well if it helps to know, I literally received my JS1 invite at 11:05 am this morning. Our stats are pretty similar so I am sure you'll have one coming your way. Oh and to save you some googling time, the questions according to the Harvard 2021 forum are

"Why Law? Why now?
What do you see yourself doing after law school?
Give an example of a time you've received feedback and how you responded.
What's something you think jumps out to the admissions team about your application?
What's something that might not jump out about your application that you want us to know?
If you were on our admissions team, what would you look for in an applicant?
And of course, they ask if you have questions."

I am sure you got this fam!

I have a very low GPA (under 25th across the entire T20) and I’ve gotten named scholarship attention in the MVPB range. So there’s definitely flexibility.
