Long time lurker checking in. I'm an AA male with a 3.75+ LSAC GPA and a 159 (September) and 168 (December) LSAT.

Has anyone with close to my stats been accepted into any top schools this year?

GL all!

Is that Blacks and Law Schools: By the Numbers thread generally correct that only 20 AAs score 168+ each year? That seems very low.

I don’t think it’s that low but I don’t think it’s much higher either. Probably 50ish, even when considering the overall drop in testers since that post.

Slight absence but I'm back! Fresh off the press 167 score (up from September's 158). I have a few apps out now but I will be sending to some former super reaches now!

I just want to send some love out to those who took the December LSAT. You all will be fantastic lawyers no matter the score, and I'm glad to know y'all, if only virtually :P

Why not apply? Do you have the other parts of your apps ready to go? When do u think you could get them out?

Also, what were your other 2 scores? An upward progression is great! Plus they only count the highest score from what I’ve been reading

I’m a urm with a 160 and 3.98. I’ve been accepted into University of Michigan, uva, Georgetown and a lot of others not t14. Uva is giving me $75k and I thought they would reject me. Definitely apply and write the best essays you can. It’s worth a shot and I was pleasantly surprised. Still waiting on other schools. I haven’t been rejected by t14 yet.

Checking in. MA, 168 with a 3.1. Texas is my top choice but hoping to be accepted to better schools to attempt to negotiate if accepted to UT.

Mikey wrote:Ok so quick question. I applied to some schools already but not to any others. I have updated my personal statement and will update my resume soon as well. The resume I'm sure is cool to update but what do you guys think about sending them my updated PS? Good idea? bad idea? wouldn't matter at all it's a waste of time? Fuck it just send it in?
