Anyone get in via the "Index Admissions"? I'm wondering how it works. The website makes it sound as if you're auto-admit as long as you meet the index. (Applying this coming cycle)
Methinks someone didn't do very well on the logic sections of the LSAT.

Checking in! Didn't really know this existed until I went exploring the forums, so glad to be here :D
And Rigo, just...bravo. (No pun intended)

Ugh, I hate that I still can't post images.

ETA: The Lavender Law thing does look really cool...props to OP for a great list.

I like it since I'm social and it seems best for those with above average social skills.
Obviously that helps in any interview context, but I'd think moreso since the firms are tabling and you just go up to them and start talking to them.

So glad I found this today. I am hoping my Chicago interview goes well so I can attend Lavender Law festivities next year. Too bad I'll just be sipping drinks in the corner and being a wallflower. I hate schmoozing.

Why wouldn't you go even if you weren't in Chicago? I go to school in STL and I'll be interviewing in DC/NYC in August and I'm making sure to fly to Chicago for this.

Also just realized if you're c/o 2018 you realize that you wouldn't be going to Lav Law in 2015... It'll be in a different city your year.

I couldn't afford to go if I wasn't nearby. I am several states away with many mouths to feed.
I could go to Lavender Law in 2015. I have another way in

Keep pondering this one. Maybe you'll get there. If not, that's okay. I like to leave a little intrigue.

This.

Checking in. Also, the Lavender Law, can you do that only if you have finished your 1L or what? I'm thinking about dropping by this summer in Chicago.

I mean are you a 1L? I took "my Chicago interview" to mean that you had an interview with UChicago, but maybe you meant for employment 1L summer?

And taptaptop: yes, it is for rising 2Ls; it's gay OCI it would make no sense for them to interview people that haven't even started orientation.

ETA: searched your post history and you're an 0L and I was correct in assuming UChicago interview, therefore I don't like your schtick regarding all of this

Anyone know if they have a set schedule or rotation for where they host LavLaw?

I know we're like two years out, but I wonder where it'll be in 2016.

I don't think so, seems pretty random and they only thing I think you could predict would that it won't be in the same city two years in a row. I remember NYC, SF, and DC being cities where it has been before, and I can imagine one of those being the location for 2016 (probably not NYC though since that was this year).

Unless you're focusing on the "festivities" and plan on trying to hookup with people in the hotel but not attend the actual event there is no other logical conclusion
