WL at Michigan today. Didn't see that coming. I'm guessing it's YP, considering I've been accepted at Duke, Berkeley, & UVA. Oh well, with those employment numbers I'm not missing out on anything.

also Michigan WL today. i think we're definitely YP. i'm in at Stanford, Columbia, NYU and a few others. definitely had no intentions of attending anyway.

That makes three of us today. First WL for me. I'm honestly shocked. Of the MVB group, Michigan was the one I wasn't worried about YP. Thought I had little to no shot at UVA and Berkeley and got both.

However, I also think it could have the number of AA acceptances already given out with UofM also. There's a fair number of users on this thread who have gotten UofM already and I know for a fact that UofM has stayed in the same range of AA matriculants for many years now. I also personally know that each year UofM accepts so many AA UofM undergrads also. Your looking at probably 20-30 AA acceptances already, with 12-15 maybe planning on attending.

Why reach for applicants who are likely not going to attend when you have already admitted the numbers you need? For those of us that stick out the WL, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't stay on it too long after seat fees are due. I've gotten into better schools so I'm not sure if I'll stick it out yet.

For some reason, I've only now found this site! So bummed I missed out on speaking & sharing....but I'm here now! I also applied late. But I'm in at UGA, Vandy, Mercer(W), UTenn, WashU, IndianaU (Bloomington). I even applied to a few of the tops like Stanford, Harvard, UChi, UVA, and Columbia....so waiting to hear back & I haven't been dinged yet....so I'm hopeful!
