All of these former lurkers with no avatars and alphanumeric usernames are indistinguishable from one another.

I just had my JS1 interview not too long ago so feel free to PM me or ask me questions on here if you have any questions about it.
Thanks. It does feel good to have NYU already.

I was wondering if anyone that already had a JS1 could pm me to talk about it. I know that the Harvard thread already has info on what to expect, but I think the URM interviews might be different.

Feeling super nervous and not very confident about this so any advice, insights, etc. would really help me out...

I can pm my stats as well (even though I don't see how its relevant for a JS1...)
they're not different. URMs get the same interview. just follow the harvard thread's instructions.

I would PM, but last time I PMed someone JS1 advice , because they didn't find it useful, they didn't reply back with a thank you, and MoMetta had to listen to my pissed rant for like ten minutes, and I doubt he wants to go through that again.

August please... did you see Alicia perform "girl on fire" when it first came out? She was so trash lol!! I liked her early stuff though and I love Butterflies! (mostly because I loved the scene in Drumline in which it was played)

yeahhhhh I'm quite aware of that performance. I guess I give her too much credit for all of the early stuff and I've just always thought she was cuter than beyonce. #moderndaysacrilege

Why did your remove your tar? Then again you're distinguishable from the other non tar users by your high post count.

Not to offend anyone. But how is this thread even useful when no one provides their numbers... I know nobody wants to give exact numbers to keep identify hidden but how about we do a range. EX: Real gpa 3.5, give three consecutive numbers any of which could be your gpa 3.3,3.4.3.5 3.5 would be real. Also a range like that for LSAT scores...

This thread is useful in many ways. In you want a source that's strictly for numbers comparison i suggest you use myLSN.

But you can always PM people for their numbers, people are pretty receptive to that.

Because most of us know each other's numbers. We will all probably post them at the end of the cycle.

If your a lurker you could always PM and ask

This thread is here and is useful because we are a support group for one another. We get excited for each other when we get into a school because we know the dedication, effort, and hard work we had to put in to put ourselves in this position to succeed and become productive people. We are here for one another. To give advice to each other and help one another reach our goals as URMs. Not to shell out out numbers. We already have to face that in the admissions process.

Yeah but it seems everyone on here is not on LSN, thats the problem. I find it hard trying to compare myself when people get into schools

I dig the whole support group thing. But wouldnt it be useful for fellow URM'S to have an idea of where they stand in the current cycle. IDK LSN just seems like it only has a hanful of URM'S the majority of which are not AA

Sorry you feel left out! One solid gif will solidify your presence here...jk... but really, you are welcome here....
