I haven't looked at the profiles but just by the numbers I'm willing to bet that they were all YP'd. Upenn prbly assumes that AAs with those numbers will get higher ranked schools and I'm sure they did. However, it would be interesting to know how many write why UPenn essays and what would have happened if they stayed on that wait-list and submitted LOCI. At the end of the day UPenn does care about their rankings and YPing applicants is one way they can protect their ranking.

Still Penn has like 20 AA's some if 2/17 were accepted from LSN. I'm wondering what the rest's stats were like.

I've been reading the Economist all day. Summarizing the aritcle, writing out what the main point is, Author's Attitude, and creating questions for from the article. Fun, fun, fun.

Literally watch most of the episode thinking you were messing with and mode those parts up about her mom and Fitz's dad.

And then of course everything comes together at the end.

Think I just nailed my Vandy interview. Northwestern is next week.

After today's interview, I've come to the conclusion that we need more minorities in investment banking/private wealth management, be that on the business or legal side. The lack of racial diversity is troubling. I hope at least a few of us end up on this other side after law school.

Anyone seeing The Best Man holiday reunion this weekend? The boo and I have date night with one of my fave black acting crew (except for Terrence Howard ). I hope it's worth it!

Also gotta bang out some PTs this weekend. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend ahead!

This will soon change  ...youre a black girl who rocks! I hope you get to see it too. I told the SO I was going for that Morris Chestnut fix. He was like :|.

Mojo, Terrence hates black women and has verbalized such. Dude also has major anger management issues, as is expected from a man who isn't packing. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Those peeps are for the most part auto admit at Harvard, Columbia, NYU and Chicago. Probably about half of those peeps also got into Yale and/or Stanford. I personally know a black female that got in Harvard Law with about a 3.5/164ish. Like that other person said, these guys were essentially yield protected at Penn. I am more fond of Penn than Chicago or NYU. Penn drops the ball when they pull shit like this. They cannot automatically assume that all of these peeps want to be in NYC or want to take out $125K in loans from HYS. I bet if they would have offered $150K to all of those people they waitlisted some of them would have accepted. A law degree from Penn for close to free is an amazing outcome.

I'm probably going to be shooting for that kind of career path myself. There's really no better way to make money in our modern world than to manage other people's money (either directly as a financier or indirectly as the lawyer). Not 100% sure I'll end up going corporate (we'll see if my skillset matches up with it), but I'm definitely interested.

manage many money

Is it just me or does it seem Future's post count doesn't go up? Maybe the moderators aren't counting his posts as "posts". I understand why Future does what he does. He or she simply doesn't want to waste hours of his life writing long, drawn out sentenances.

My Transcripts are finally in and I can begin applying @.@ I am going to start emailing for fee waivers now lol
My GPA rose even higher than I thought haha.

Is anyone else kind of feeling unworthy? I went to a pretty lame UG and had very little hope of T14 until I took the LSAT. I have no idea what im doing lol

Who are these schools that give A+'s? Why did I not realize this was a thing when I was applying to undergrad!?

Lol srsly, some professors at my school didn't believe in A+s even if you got 98% or above in the class.
