I didn't because I thought the whole bullying bit was passe/overdone this cycle... is it even interesting enough for that?

I sincerely doubt it. I find the entire situation deeply amusing, but my *genuine* advice is not to discuss pokemon extortion in any part of your application.

If it was part of a larger narrative of race based isolation/bullying then I'd have to say that's a pretty great anecdote to start an essay with.

Oh man I was the master Pokemon card collector. I had a limited edition mewtwo that I had to trade for playground protection from a bully. That was a sad sad day.

Wait what? lol please explain. Did the bully want the card or someone who was going to stop the bully want the card in exchange for his duties?

Also this thread moves type fast but everytime I stop by I die laughing. Thumbs up you frequent contributors.

Srsly! I though these things only happened in movies and prison. Once you become an attorney you should find that kid and sue him.

Judge Judy would say that's emotional distress.

This made me google Judge Judge. Yall know she makes 47 mil a year and only works for 52 days?
She graduated from New York Law School (Not NYU NYLS yea she def came up).
TV judge life is looking like a pretty good end goal right now.

You missed Derrick Comedy, but other than that that's a pretty complete list.

An article about my idol Michelle Obama. I almost like her more than Pres. Obama because she doesn't front like he does. She really did grow up working class unlike Pres. Obama, which is something he has always insinuated. If she was into politics, she would be a fine Senator but she isn't going to ever run. Michelle almost divorced her hubby because she thought Mr. Pres. wasn't sufficiently focusing on family life and wasn't doing something more lucrative than civil rights law. Michelle thought he was wasting his time running for office as did his colleagues at the University of Chicago. They would tell Mr. Pres. he would be a fine professor if he completely dedicated himself to it.

So she was advising him to give up his political career and Barack, by going against this advice, became a wildly successful politician and the nation's first black president. Michelle threatened to leave Barack for not taking her advice (which, as we've seen, turned out to be bad anyway) and if Michelle had her way and Barack had went for the money instead of the experience, Barack would not be President today. Michelle would also not be the influential household name she is right now.

And for this you like her more?

There was a stealth edit I caught where that all originally made more sense, and it seems like in the edit Bizzy combined a few ideas into one post.

I'm sure we're all right there with you. Take comfort in the fact that even though only 1/9 applicants get accepted to Harvard, 3/4 people with JS1s get in.
