You weren't in the right neighborhoods. No place on Earth rivals lower Manhattan.

Regardless, you can't deny lower Manhattan has the highest concentration of trendy women in the country. That's got to count for something

Probably the highest concentration of stuck up women as well...goes hand in hand.

But honestly they aren't individually trendy, most of them just follow what's in at the time. Being different is a big thing for me when comparing fashion sense.

That's being a label follower, not being trendy.

Being trendy is a culmination of flair and an acute knowledge of which trends are relevant and worthy of adopting for one's own personal style.

Anyone can buy expensive, popular brands. This in and of itself doesn't make you trendy.

Dammit, I should have kept the Rothman bit to myself so I could have had a fighting chance at it. :P

Also, LA girls are notoriously good-looking.

LOL, I mentioned it earlier in the day anyway. Sorry if I blew it up for you. To be honest I don't know why they don't mention that scholarship whenever they send a fee waiver email.

It's not about it's about style. Any old girl can see what the latest trend but it takes a special woman to mesh that trend with her personal style.

Trendy women does not a good wife make.

I'm sorry but a considerable number of those women don't know how to cook, keep a clean house or live with a man. Not knocking my gender, but quality women are lacking these days. More are too busy following trends than creating their own path. Herd mentality is not where it's at.

Lol, naw, but if you're looking for trendy, don't be surprised if quality goes out the door with that.

Perhaps as you grow older you'll understand the importance of what some are saying here.

Trendy doesn't mean dense. There are plenty of exceptionally well-dressed, smart, and career-minded women in New York. That's the type I'd personally prefer.

I like to eat out and take my clothes to the dry-cleaner, I don't need a domestic 8)
