I feel your pain. this $25 per app is ridiculous.
Yes! Fee waivers are cool and all, but this 25 is adding up. I can't imagine if i was paying the 85 or so to apply to all of these schools.

It's really crazy... I cant apply to all the schools at once. I have to do my top four first and then wait till I get paid to do the next 2 and so on...

It's crazy because some people are really doing that! Paying the full price... like Northwestern should be ashamed of themselves for trying to charge $100

Luckily I don't pay any bills so all of my barely above minimum wage pay checks are going straight to law school apps. But! I've officially sent off all of my apps so now I can start saving up for the seat deposit.

Did you watch Maury and Jerry Springer? Man I miss those days.

Are you a fan of black comedy from the '70s or '90s? I think they show The Jeffersons, Good Times, 227, The Parkers and A Different World, Living Single etc. on TVOne and Centric TV during the day. Enjoy your day off !

ETA: OMG, I miss good black comedy shows :( ...

That's crazy. 2 years ago it was only like $12. Cant believe they've doubled it in just 2 years.

After re-doing the stained glass game(went -2 during my PT), I'd venture to say it's more on the easier side than the hard side. Though I can just imagine people freaking out on test day doing this game. But once you connect everything and get Y--->P, the game is cake.

On the real they say law school is an equal opportunist but I beg to differ. From applying, to finding monies to prep for an exam that determines most everything, this process dissuades many who come from humble beginnings. Heck, I work but gotta space out sending apps too because I help support my mother. It's stories like these we must bring forth to the application. It brings forth context that not every one of us were born with gold spoons in our mouths...that it took a lot of sacrifices to even get to this point of applying.

Everyone who can relate, keep your head up. You've already come so far.

you definitely said it! It's funny that they even have one section of an some school's application that said "parental contribution" I laughed, like my parents could even afford a seat deposit for these schools let alone be relied on for contributions to my tuition.

Tell me about it. I've had to sacrifice so much to prep for this test alone, on top of supporting my Fam back home, which a lot of times makes me second guess Law School.

Girl, yes. Presumptive much? Oh and I like the "please list previous family members who attended our law school". Say what now? Most of my family didn't even complete high school, let alone law school  .

I'm getting mad just thinking about this.
