Well, I think they banned her because her original account got banned but she's still on the site, not solely because she had two accounts.

However, I do believe you are right in the sense that you could be banned simply for having an alt.

Makes sense.

So, when the school gives you the total cost of attending, why do we factor that into the calculators? If Penn's tuition is ~$56,000 why would I need ~$23,000 more a year just to live, especially if I live on exponentially less than that now.

It's totally possible to live on less, but that's the max amount you can take out in loans so it's easier to use that for general calculations. It's especially useful if you're trying to get an idea for cost of living across different cities that you haven't lived in before.

Ahh ok, got it. Thanks!

Dear Gohan,
Thank you for applying to Harvard Law School. After reviewing your application, the Admissions Committee is offering you a spot on the wait list for the class of 2017. I have answered the most frequently asked questions about our wait list on my blog...

For the first time ever I'm thinking long and hard about sitting out this cycle and retaking. Kinda scary.

so multiple 3.5+/170+ AAs were just waitlisted? I thought AAs with numbers like that were close to auto admit everywhere but Yale =/

Perhaps because they applied late in the cycle?

One way or another, AA cycles are extremely unpredictable. I've gotten weird scholly offers, wait-listed/held by barely T1 schools, etc.

Didn't have any schools that threw $$$?

Think long and hard about your goals and what you really want to do before you decide to wait a year and retake.

Me, I was gonna sit, but I got more of an offer than my #s warranted, so I'm lucky. Couldn't pass it up tbh.
