*oh and what does SP stand for on LSN?
This just goes to show how unpredictable the URM cycle is. Besides which, LSN doesn't capture the whole picture.
Maybe they reconsidered after seeing her previous two scores? Maybe there were more competitive AA females? Maybe maintaining their numbers took precedence over having a more racially diverse class? Who knows what these committees think, that's why we must apply everywhere.
I mean look at Yale's most recent class....they dipped as low as a 152 and 3.1. For some schools it may truly be holistic...just apply, you never know.

You most likely won't get SEO then.If you don't have a deposit in by May you pretty much don't have a shotmandyjay11 wrote:KingJamesLBJ wrote:I know, i didnt understand either.Nova wrote:Menes only applied to GULCKingJamesLBJ wrote:

Hence the suggestion that she deposit somewhere right outside the T14 should she not gain acceptance or be wait listed at a top school. SEO has offered to those admitted right outside the T14.
Given Mandy's stats and background, I doubt she will be in such a position.

Was just emphasizing the point of needing a deposit in somewhere.
FWIW, UCLA and GW have had the best representation in the SEO outside the t14 IIRC.

USC is up there as well. It is because the main markets SEO places interns in is NYC and DC.AAJD2B wrote:Interesting. And what about USC? Vandy? Texas?Mojosodope wrote:Was just emphasizing the point of needing a deposit in somewhere.
