I haven't lost interest. I've just stopped dwelling on it all the time. Very zen about it all these days.

I think we've all just chilled out and decided to stop obsessing over things we can't do anything about.

I feel like an idiot for being so obsessive about applications a few months back. I'm like kind of embarrassed.

I'm applying this year and watching everyone just makes me super nervous.

TLSers are generally the most neurotic of the neurotic. It's a great resource, to be sure, but take all the panicky stuff with a grain of salt.

Wonder what's the average life expectancy of TLSers. Saw a couple of TLSers freaking out over whether they should respond to an automated email. They might just die during finals week.

Sometimes TLS makes me so concerned that I don't care enough so I'm going to flunk out of school once I start.

Exactly. If that's how they want to deal with things, that's fine and dandy. Sure, the whole process is stressful to some extent, but a great deal of it is just how you choose to deal with it. Don't let others' neuroses stress you out unnecessarily.

I'm about one week away from rage-withdrawing from the schools that are still sitting on my application.
