I haven't lost interest. I've just stopped dwelling on it all the time. Very zen about it all these days.dproduct wrote:Though this past week or so, I've lost interest for some reason.shntn wrote:Yep, I think most of us are.cricketlove00 wrote:So is everyone here waiting on acceptances? I think we've all just chilled out and decided to stop obsessing over things we can't do anything about.ohpobrecito wrote:I'm also in this camp. I feel like an idiot for being so obsessive about applications a few months back. I'm like kind of embarrassed.

I'm applying this year and watching everyone just makes me super nervous.

TLSers are generally the most neurotic of the neurotic. It's a great resource, to be sure, but take all the panicky stuff with a grain of salt.cricketlove00 wrote:I'm applying this year and watching everyone just makes me super nervous.

Wonder what's the average life expectancy of TLSers. Saw a couple of TLSers freaking out over whether they should respond to an automated email. They might just die during finals week.shntn wrote:TLSers are generally the most neurotic of the neurotic. Sometimes TLS makes me so concerned that I don't care enough so I'm going to flunk out of school once I start.dproduct wrote:smdpnp wrote:Wonder what's the average life expectancy of TLSers. Exactly. If that's how they want to deal with things, that's fine and dandy. Sure, the whole process is stressful to some extent, but a great deal of it is just how you choose to deal with it. Don't let others' neuroses stress you out unnecessarily.smdpnp wrote:Wonder what's the average life expectancy of TLSers. I'm about one week away from rage-withdrawing from the schools that are still sitting on my application.
