URM radio silence
Other than a pair of fall grade requests, I've largely not heard from any of the top schools since going complete in late November. The T5 have had more than a few rounds of decisions, many coming on applications submitted after my complete date. I'm happy to have made it through all the bloodbaths so far, but at some point silence becomes a bad thing, right?

Basically you hurt the medians at every T-14. So when the T-14 finish admitting most of the median or above median URM's for either GPA or LSAT, then they will pick their favorites from the remaining URM`s later on in the cycle. You might be waiting a while-- but don't despair-- you are definitely T-14 bound with that 167.

I'm going to have to question your logic there. I'm in a similar situation, and have heard from some schools, but haven't heard anything from many of the top schools who are admitting URMs with stats much lower than mine and complete dates much later than mine (and I have good softs, as well). I think what you're saying may generally be true, but it also seems that URMs typically hear later in the cycle.bizzybone1313 wrote:Basically you hurt the medians at every T-14. I think this cycle is hella weird for URMs. I'm pretty sure people with lower stats than me have gotten into GTown and UVA. They applied later as well. However, I was admitted to Berkeley and NYU faster than other AAs with better numbers and earlier complete dates.all we can do is wait.bfigsan wrote:I'm going to have to question your logic there. Same here. Complete in late November. Literally not a peep except a ding at Michigan over status check.

Most likely wait until late March or early April. Some T-14 schools last cycle accepted apps way into the spring and even the summer. I would have to find the link.
