February retake...less scholarship?

I am currently planning to retake the LSAT in February. I already submitted apps for this cycle (lots of fee waivers).

If I were to increase my LSAT score in February, would I still be in a good position to receive scholarship money? Or would it be smarter to apply again at the beginning of next cycle (if I do increase my lsat score)?

Thanks for all the info.

It would probably be smarter to apply at the beginning of the cycle, but a higher score can't hurt, regardless of timing.

Not necessarily as last cycle some schools awarded larger scholarships to waitlisted admits than to RD admits. Law schools are trying to sort out the consequences of declining number of applicants.

Thanks for the replies. I will keep planning to take February then. However, if I'm not pting where I'd like, I might postpone til June or October.
