Congrats are definitely due to you ama8zing!

161, 3.7

Duke= 120k
Texas= 84K
UVA= 36K
Michigan= 10K

I am thinking of starting a URM cycle summary thread. I just didn't want to be the only one putting my info out there. :P Anyone else up for this or is it still too early?

Random 3L reading through this; I would encourage you to at least mention the Duke offer to UVA and see if they don't jump you up another 10K or so.

Of the T10, I'm at 2 dings, 2 acceptances, 2 WL, 1 hold, and 3 bullies ignoring me.

I already hit the lotto w/ Columbia, I'm just praying my softs get me the Powerball @ Harvard or Stanford.
Damn dude you nabbed Columbia?

Dat AA URM 167 is in super high demand, I should've known.
TX, you should def ride Harvard to the bitter end. 3.2/172 has been done before. Gaia used to talk about this guy all the time, and he got in when there were more AAs in the pool than there are now. The gulf between 172 --> 167 is not that great as there are only a handful of dudes so 3.2/167 + black MALE + solid softs = a good shot at the throne.

Thanks. I'm definitely gonna ride it out. If they call me at 9am, on registration day, I'm getting on a train to Cambridge, lol.

EDIT: What happened to Gaia? I think she told me that exact story re: one of my first posts.

She told me the same thing, except that there were 3 AA males all around 3.2/17X that were outright accepted. I believe they were during the application peak as well.

3.2/167. Blank check (from me, made out to the institution)
Had to laugh at this...I really thought you meant full ride.

Did you make sure they knew this? I feel like w/ your numbers and this info, they'd snatch you up in a hurry.
Columbia is significantly less URM friendly than Harvard.
No, I didn't really tailor my app at all. Is that LOCI-worthy information? I was under the impression that you should only update Columbia with major achievements, etc.

Just got my Feb LSAT score back. 165. Definitely better than a 162. I will take it.

In at Berkeley today! In at Stanford on Thursday! Man when I was staring down my last shot at the LSAT in December I never thought this would be possible.

Hi All, with my February LSAT score finally in, I can stop lurking and check in. 3.79/166/AA Male, 10+ years of w/e. First, thanks to everyone who has been posting in this thread. You've made me 1000x smarter about all of this and second, good luck to everyone still waiting to hear from their schools.

Now to the meat, I am probably shooting for the 13-14 application season, but have two very late apps in to UVA and Harvard this season.

3.79/166/AA Male? You're going to have a beautiful, beautiful cycle. Enjoy HYS!

In at Georgetown today via mail. Praise Jesus, God is great!!! No mention of money yet.

Still leaning toward Vandy due to scholarship and cost of living considerations but really happy about getting a T14 acceptance.

Many congratulations to the February LSAT takers. Much success to you in this cycle or the next.

Question: I applied to Duke back in November an went UR1 mid December and I haven't heard a peep since. Is this remotely normal or does it warrant an actual check-up? I'm a little afraid to check in in case they just reject me immediately after or something, but this just doesn't seem right.
