TeflonDon, I feel like you and I are in the same boat. URMS who interviewed late Jan (I was 1/31) and missed that wave of JS2's six days later. My impression is that the JS2's coming out today are V-Day mercy calls for people who were held or haven't heard in over a month. I think we'll probably hear Tuesday if we hear anytime soon.

I had JS1 on 1/30.. Here's to hoping you're right!

You have close to auto-admit #s for a URM, it's just a matter of time. Unless you've got some bad C&F or told JS/KB she smells via Skype.

A few of us went back to prior cycle URM threads and it seemed like damn near every URM with an interview was eventually accepted. But Harvard upped its # of interviews this cycle so that precedent isn't very useful anymore. We'll see what the % is once the cycle is over.

The % is still bound to be higher than whatever the non-URM one is because of
how few qualified URMs there are during any given cycle.

Still waiting. I had my JS1 on 1/9. AA male. 168/3.73. Grad degree and some strong softs. During my skype I had a few internet connection problems. Still can't stop thinking of how better it would have gone if I could have had a seamless conversation.

I had my JS1 on 12/17 and felt terrible about it and I got a JS2 two weeks ago.

JS2 today!! I interviewed on Tuesday, so needless to say, I was NOT expecting anything this soon, much less an acceptance. I am in shock--I couldn't get my phone in time and it went to voicemail. Wow. I don't feel so bad about canceling my February retake now!

I deleted some of my older posts in a fit of privacy, but I'm over it now, so here are my stats: Female MA 3.74(LSAC GPA)/3.82 (UGPA)/167 with what I think are some somewhat compelling softs.

I'm happy to answer any questions about the interview or my application. I fully credit this board for urging me to aim much higher, and I am so grateful.
