Well I think this is the end of my cycle. I got into Yale and Columbia last night!!! (Info in profile) I haven't heard from Cornell, NYU, UVA...but at this point, it doesn't even matter. I have no idea what to do...but what an amazing position to be in.

Thanks to everyone in this thread for your advice and encouragement -- you guys are awesome! Congrats to those who have also recently heard great news!! And good luck to those who are still waiting -- don't give up hope!!

Hi Everyone,

New to the forum, and just wanted to get some honest advice...I have a 3.45 and a 161 LSAT, AA Female. I applied to all the top 14 except for nyu, michigan, cornell, nw and yale, but now i'm freaking out because from the schools i've heard back from, I am on the preferred waitlist at both Duke and Georegetown with a rejection from Boalt. Do I have a snowballs chance at my dream school, Columbia or dare I even ask, Harvard?

I'm thinking about applying to GW just to hedge my bets... :/

To be completely honest, even with the AA boost I think Columbia would definitely be a reach and Harvard would probably be out of the question... that being said, this cycle has been crazy. You have a better chance at getting into those schools this year than you would in years past.

If it's your dream school and you can find it feasible, study again for the LSAT and attempt to drastically improve your score. Your gpa is pretty good. If you were able to accomplish a 168+, I think Columbia and Harvard would be in your reach next cycle. It will take a great effort and it's a big decision/commitment, but if its your dream...

In at Cornell as well! I am shocked, because I only had two complete dates and I swear the norm is 4. Anyway, congrats on all the recent admits! We shall all be in law school in a matter of months
