No clue how this cycle is gonna end.. can't wait to find out Good luck, everyone!
At least you know you got into a T14. Also, after seeing your profile, I wish I did Cornell EA. We had similar old LSAT scores. I'm legit close to throwing an ED app to Penn

So happy for you and all the other NYU admits! I know God is taking His own sweet time with me (sometimes no news is good news right?). Just need to work on my patience! So Worm, did you withdraw your app from Duke after receiving your 170? If I was in your shoes, that is probably what I would have done for insulting me unless I really cared for Duke in the first place.Wormfather wrote:Full ride to UVA. Shaweeet.
Worm, you are the perfect person to find out if this whole average all LSAT scores/take all into consideration stuff is a bunch a bullshit that some of the T-6 schools still claim to do. When you get them, can you please post all of your outcomes at all of the T-6?

Great. Looks good. So which school is going to make you soil yourself if and when you get accepted? Yale, Harvard or Stanford?Wormfather wrote:LSN in profile.bizzybone1313 wrote:So Worm, did you withdraw your app from Duke after receiving your 170? Um, speaking of this last part... I was going to register for the February LSAT tonight... But now that I got a JS1... If I register, will I screw up my chances?Wormfather wrote:That, not so much, but the minute you feel ready to take the test, email the schools informing them that you're retaking. Or if you're afraid that something might go wrong (sick, bad day and you cancel), email them after the test.read2465 wrote:Okay. Ahh. Back to the books. I think.Wormfather wrote:
Go, if you're not ready you can cancel the night before. Drill, take some PTs you can get back in a week or so.
Have you heard of anyone being able to appeal a rejection after a higher score? I haven't gotten one yet, but it would be nice to be prepared.
Although, I wonder what would happen if you got a JS1 before the retake, that would be interesting.

Columbia doesn't seem to like URM's too much. Has anyone got in there yet?

HLS only interviews strong candidates. So, if you have a JS1, then you have already been identified as an "admittable" candidate. Retaking is your choice. But, I imagine that having a new score two months after your HLS interview will have no significant impact on your decision. Some interviewees have been admitted the next day. So, I would be comfortable saying that after the interview, a decision would be made shortly.clouded.memory wrote: Um, speaking of this last part... However, if you want to bolster your credentials for another law school OR you just want to retake, then you should still retake. But, if HLS is your number one, you are 70-99.99% already in with a JS1. I made that statistic up, but I have yet to hear of ANYONE who had a JS1 and was rejected. GOOD LUCK and CONGRATS on your JS1!!!
