That's awesome. Great cycle for URMs at Harvard. Last three years, I can't find (on LSN or the forums) any URM candidates who got a JS1 and no JS2. It's around 80% overall but I'm thinking closer to 95+% for URMs.

HTH.

Congrats to all of those already admitted for this cycle.

I have a quick question for anyone checking this thread that is familiar with law school loans. Is there ever a situation where an admitted student is not able to secure the loans to attend? For the record, my credit is good. But, my family is not able to pay anything toward my education and I'm unable to ask one of my parents for their financial information to fill out the financial aid forms (haven't had any contact with this parent in 8 years, and my private undergraduate institution waived the requirement for this parent's information for their financial aid process).

Thanks in advance for any advice or help!

There are many circumstances that arise where students cannot get the loans they need. For example, one of my friends got into William & Mary and could not attend because he filed for bankruptcy. Another friend filed for bankruptcy and could not attend Berkeley.

In those situations, both friends just decided not to go to law school.

I don't know much about loans and financial aid, but I guess one could get a co-signer in that situation. I would suggest you contact the law school because the examples I gave are just about students being unable to attend because of their own actions and not because of parental information.

167 PR Male here, no GPA. So far, only in at Berkeley (they accepted me only about a week after I submitted). Haven't heard from anyone else yet! Kind of nerve-wracking!

I increased my LSAT score by 5 points. 3.6 from a top 5 school/ mid 160's ....I feel like I'm finally in the game. I submitted my apps already, except for Penn. Should I ED? I feel like I'm hella late in the cycle, but a part of me things I have a chance to at T6.
