Exactly! Some of my friends got JS1s a lot fast after their complete dates than I did, and I was super surprised even just to get one!

I'm "Officially" checking in after a month of lurking/occasional commenting without posting much info...I also finally have an LSN profile so I feel like I belong now haha...

For any fellow U of Chicago hopefuls:

Apparently, the admissions office there is super behind. A friend of mine is a 1L on the student admissions committee, and he told me that they are about a month behind schedule compared to last year, so don't lose faith! Esp. since us URMs tend to be considered later on anyway...

Update:

In at USC with 120k
FR2 at Berkeley (which I am actually very sad about because they are high on my list)
but...
I have my JS1 on Friday which was a very awesome V-day present.

Complete silence from everyone else which is a little concerning. I don't even think I'm UR at Penn and Duke.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been complete for over a month with no movement. Gonna settle in and keep hope alive.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been complete for over a month with no movement. Gonna settle in and keep hope alive.

They're probably doing mid-November now. I applied in early November and didn't get updated until late January, as did most everyone else on the Chicago thread who applied around the same time as I did. They seem to be one of the few schools that are going in chronological order.

Hey everyone! Managed to finally get my first acceptance at Cornell! I am so relieved :) Currently deferred at NYU and held at Columbia, but hoping to maybe grab one of those later on. congrats to all admits!
