PR is a URM.

I see nothing wrong with you checking PR on your apps since that is what you are.

The race/ethnicity questionnaires don't say "please check only those that are 1/4 or more that apply." They say "please check all that apply."

I figured as much, but the TLS article on it said something about being 1/4. I've been searching for what the boost is like but I guess there isn't as much consensus on it as opposed to AA.

The article is wrong since they cannot tell. If you marked both PR and Dominican they would have no way to tell whether you were 1/2 both, 1/8 PR+7/8 Dom, 7/8 PR+1/8 Dom, etc.

The consensus is that the boost is large like all other URM boosts. Is it less then AA and NA? Arguably it is, but it is still far closer to those than it is to non-URM's. Look up MX/PR's on LSN but don't be afraid to look at NA/AA's too if you need more data points.
