Y'all think this (pretty substantial) drop is indicative of a drop in the total number of URMs that are applying this year, or just an LSN thing?
it does not mean much. People create lsn profiles later in the cycle. If you check back in a month or so, your number may go up. Also i can also argue that since lsn is not something everyone does/knows about, you can't use it as a representative sample.
You make a good point that the final number of URMs on LSN for this cycle will be higher later in the year, but it doesn't seem like it can explain a 40ish% drop in URMs registering for the website, especially given what we are hearing about the number of applicants/LSAT takers dropping.
