Real general question here as I try to figure out timing.

Just wondering when I should hear back from financial aid with scholarship awards from all schools. I was a early January (December LSAT retake) applicant, and I am in at a good chunk of the T14, but other than UVA, I have been waiting for $. For example, I have even been waiting from Duke after getting accepted on ~1/10 and sending my finaid app the next day.

(If the school requested it, I sent in my finaid info/app back the day after receiving the admissions decision.)

Will it really come close to deposit deadlines (around April 29th/May 1st) before I get all of the scholarship offers in?

You're in at several of the same schools I'm in at, and from what I've seen a lot of scholly info comes out in March. So no it won't be right before the deadline, but still give it a couple weeks. Penn and NYU both have mid-late March trends from what I've seen. Duke does their schollies in order of the form being turned in. Last I heard they were up to the end of December (from when they received it, not from when you sent it in). So yeah, by the end of this month you should have a pretty good picture of where you're standing at most of the schools. That in combination with the mass number of ASWs in March, it's my guess that a lot of us will have a clearer picture of where we're going to be in the fall the first couple weeks of April. Super excited/terrified about all of this! :D

Thanks for info! Also, good to know about Duke.
Very excited for all of this including the visits.

Law_monkey, its funny, at first glance, I couldn't tell if we were in at the same schools or if you were just ALL over TLS. Just glanced at your profile (awesome cycle!), and we definitely may cross paths at some point this March/April.

Maybe I'm a little confused but I thought there might be a bit of overlap.

Anyway, I'm staying with someone in the BLSA so I'm sure i'll get a taste of the conference/

Lol confused the conference with the diversity lunch...my host is from the BLSA and just asked me if I wanted to go- so, looks like I'll see you there!

Dinged at University of Houston today. This one hurts, they were my first choice. I really hate my GPA right now.

I'm starting to see some movement in my cycle despite my late applications. In at GW a few days ago (not sure about $ yet) and today I was invited to interview for GULC.
