Top Law Schools

Hello everyone,

I am from Turkey and working at Turkish Court of Accounts. (Equivalent of Government Accountability Office of USA, well at least in theory) I have a 115 / 120 TOEFL IBT score, 3.55 / 4.00 GPA and in the 10 practice exams I took (LSAT obviously) my scores fluctuated between 172 and 178. So my question is, as a 29 year old Turkish guy with these scores, what are my chances of actually getting admitted to a really good LS and going Biglaw after that? Is it even worth trying?

Have to actually get your LSAT first, but mid-170s will definitely give you options.

Taking it in October. Meanwhile, I plan to just take 50~~ practice tests and just check KAPLAN explanations for the questions I failed at. LSAT seems fairly straightforward to require anything other than familiarizing yourself with the question types, I might be wrong though

Your gpa may hurt you at some of the very top schools. Lsac will recalculate your gpa anyway. My lsac gpa was .06 lower than the gpa i had calculated myself...

My advice would be to try and score in the mid 160-170's and you'll be golden. The lsat is definitely a learnable test imo...

Go to the best law school you can get into. High class rank will get you into biglaw once you're in school.
