which to choose?
Any opinions????
I am a female, underrepresented minority- Though I'm not sure, where I want to practice, I'm from NYC, and most likely would want to return there at some point. Not sure about practice area but
here are my choices:
Case Western, Brooklyn Law , Howard, Temple, Catholic
(**Case gave me $10,000, Temple gave me $12,000, Catholic gave me $5,000)
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks!!

Ahhh, I see...a funny guy. Regardless, I think as a URM, OP should seriously consider Howard.MrKappus wrote:B/c he said "Case, 100%" in your [Edit: her] other thread that looks exactly like this one.iwanttogotolawschool wrote:Really? Why do you say that?D. H2Oman wrote:Temple, 100%

Getting back to the OP, it looks like Howard wins out. Way more firms at OCI and from all over the country, which I would assume would be particularly helpful given that you don't know where you want to be upon graduation. Brooklyn is second and then I didn't really bother sorting out the rest.

I would say either Howard of Case Western. Howard allows you to stay on the east coast relatively close to NYC and they have a better employment rate, starting salary and oci's then most schools

Temple won't get you back to NY unless you're at the absolute top of your class and even then it will be a long shot. Although Temple will set you up pretty nicely if you're open to working in Philly. I'd say if your heart is set on NY Brooklyn is your best option.

Re: which to choose?
I always thought for Blacks, the formula was: if In @ any Tier 1, then Tier 1 > Howard; if In @ Howard, then Howard > any Tier 2.
Is this sensible? Because if so, I would choose Howard right off the bat.
